By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information to provide and improve the App’s functionality, specifically for habit tracking and social accountability.

A. Personal Data You Provide

When you create an account or use the App, we may collect:

Account Information: Your email address, display name, and password (encrypted).
Profile Content: Your profile picture, if you choose to upload one.
User Content: The names of the Roles (habits) you create, your goals (Activities), and your daily progress logs.
Social Features: Messages sent via the “Shoutout” feature and Invite Codes generated to share groups.

B. Automatically Collected Information

Usage Data: We track your “Streaks,” completion rates, and interaction with the App to generate leaderboards and consistency stats.
Device Permissions:
- Photos: We request access to your photo library only if you choose to upload a profile picture.
- Notifications: We request access to send you local daily reminders that you schedule.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

Core Functionality: To track your habits, calculate your streaks, and display your progress.
Social Accountability: To display your progress on Leaderboards within the “Challenge” or “Accountability” groups you explicitly join.
Communication: To send global or group “Shoutout” messages and system updates.
Account Management: To manage your registration and authentication via Google Firebase.

3. Disclosure of Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to others. We may share information in the following situations:

With Other Users (Social Features): If you join a shared Role (Challenge or Accountability group), your Display Name, Avatar, Streak, and Progress % will be visible to other members of that specific group on the Leaderboard.
Service Providers: We use Google Firebase (owned by Google LLC) for backend services including:
- Authentication: To manage user logins.
- Firestore Database: To store your habits and logs.
- Cloud Storage: To host user profile images.
These services process data securely in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

Retention: We retain your personal data only as long as your account is active.

Deletion (Your Rights): You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time directly within the App.

Go to Profile.
Tap “Delete Account”.

This action permanently removes your User Profile, Authentication Record, Daily Logs, and Profile Image from our servers.

5. Security of Your Data

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase, which employs industry-standard encryption and security protocols. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

6. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

7. Your Data Protection Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

The right to access: You can view your data (habits, logs) directly in the App.
The right to rectification: You can update your Display Name and Photo in the Profile section.
The right to erasure: You can delete your account instantly via the Settings menu.
The right to restrict processing: You can choose not to join shared groups to keep your data private.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
